A scientific justification, focused on the development of sustainability feed ingredients and farm animals’ ecosystems, is required. Thus, it crucial to search for alternative materials from natural sources potential applications. The aim this study was evaluate prospective utilization freshwater Cladophora glomerata (C. glomerata) as an source protein other essential nutrients in feed. For purpose, chemical analysis performed collected biomass samples Lithuanian rivers, Dubysa (B1), Šventoji (B2), Nev?žis (B3), J?ra (B4). Microelements (Ca > K N P Mg), trace elements (Zn Cu), heavy metals (Cr Ni Pb Cd) have not exceeded permissible levels. crude content C. ranged 16% 21.5% DM. amino acid profile excelled, with highest total amount 140.99 g/kg B4. presence polyunsaturated fatty acids (11.71%) well ratio saturated (0.22) observed B1. lowest omega-6/omega-3 B1 (1.30).
